Description

Plants 15-40cm high. Stems unbranched. Corm globose with tunics of medium-textured fibres. Leaves linear to lanceolate, 1-3 veined. Flowers in dense spike, pink with darker pink nectar guides, acridly scented; perianth tube 5-8mm long, tepals unequal, the dorsal largest. Bracts short, obtuse, usually dry and rigid. Tritoniopsis (Snake Flower) = resembling Tritonia
