Description

Total length 8-9cm, wing span about 24cm. The colour is variable from dark to light greyish-brown, underparts whitish or buffy-white. Wing membranes are blackish-brown. They live in small groups of two or three huddled under the barks of trees or under roofs of buildings. Their flight is rather slow and fluttering, jinking and turning in search of flying insects.
