Description

This bulbul is mostly sooty brown with a darker head, which has a small crest. The eye-wattle is white and the under-tail lemony yellow. Found in the winter rainfall region of the Cape, it frequents fynbos, riverine and coastal scrub often perching noisily on top of a bush. Common resident.
