Description

Erect-stemmed plant, 10-30cm high. Leaves lanceolate, pleated, hairy, 5-8mm wide. Flowers scented, varying shades of mauve to purple-pink, lobes equal. Perianth tube narrowly funnel-shaped, 18-28mm long. Anthers arrow-shaped. Bracts 15-25mm long, inner bracts divided to the base. Becoming rare due to habitat destruction.
