Description

Breeding male: The bright yellow weaver has a big black mask and red eye. The non-breeding male resembles the female, who is dull olive above, with some streaking, and has a yellow-white throat which fades to a white belly. Breeds in trees (sometimes away from water), or in riverside bushes and reeds. Common resident.
