Description

A fine, dainty herb-like plant, found growing on edge, or in water along stream edges. Flowers, 3-4mm long, white or pale blue with slightly darker markings. Differs from Lobelia in the absence of a split in the corolla tube. After F. E. Wimmer, d.1961, a Viennese botanist and Roman Catholic priest who studied Lobeliaceae.
