Description

Smallish, dark bronzy brown above and on sides of chest, under-parts white, extending around bend and showing above folded wing. White eyebrow and a bill about as long as head. In flight shows white wing-bar and white outer tail-feathers. Forages in mud at edge of Lagoon and most other water bodies. Usually solitary. Common summer visitor.
