Description A large grey hawk with black on wings and tail, finely barred below. The bare yellow face and legs are conspicuous. Occasionally seen in wooded areas or riverine forests clambering about trees and using its long legs to search cavities for lizards and other small creatures. It also takes nestlings of other birds. Uncommon resident.
