Flowering time


Evergreen tree from ten to 30 metres. Birds enjoy the edible fruit and the nectar from the brick red and yellow tubular sessile flowers. Leaves drooping ovate, thinly leathery, bright green above. Fruit fleshy , ovoid, black when ripe but not tasty.
