Description

An erect shrub with its ascending branches covered with more than one leaf type - as the specific name 'heterophylla' implies. The leaves of the annual flowering shoot are hardly dissected compared with those towards the base of the plant. The flower-heads are solitary, terminal and pedunculate with visible involucral bracts.
