Description

Plants 12 - 30cm high, evergreen, rhizomatous. Rounded stems, usually unbranched, lateral flower clusters sessile, subtended by prominently keeled bracts. Leaves almost round to elliptical in cross section, 1.5-2mm wide, fibrotic. Flowers blue, style minutely three notched. Spathes and bracts rust brown, transparent on edges.
