Description

Plant up to 35cm tall with scabrid, hairy stems. Leaves are hairy, glandular and lanceolate and silky at the base. The bracts are rough and hairy and sticky. Flowers are usually white, sometimes mauve in dense flower heads. Latin villi meaning long hairs, which describes the hairy leaves and stem of this species.
