Description

Can grow up to 20m over a wide range of altitudes. Small town in S Cape named after it. Wood used for assegai shafts. Evergreen shiny darkgreen leaves. Lower surface has prominent venation, woolly gray and brownish hairs. Margin toothed. Terminal sprays of cream flowers. Fruit edible.
