Description

Plants 15-30cm high. Corm ovoid to woody, overlapping tunics. Stem lax. Leaves linear, soft and trailing, 1.5-4mm wide. Flowers in a 3-8 flowered spike, white. Tepals spreading, 8-10mm long. Bracts green. From Greek: geisson, tile; rhiza, root: = regular overlapping of the corm tunics.
