Description

Plant with tuberous root, 15-45cm tall, with a clump of threadlike leaves. Flowers white, with bright yellow stamens, stamens lack the beards of the similar bulbines. From Latin: bulbus, and Greek: bolbos; an onion or bulb and inus, indicating resemblance.
