Description

Plants 35-75cm high. Corm tunics of wiry, black fibres. Leaf single, rarely two leaves, linear, channeled, trailing above. Flowers yellow to orange or bicoloured, enclosed in green attenuate spathes, fetid smelling. Moraea = after Sara Moraea, wife of Linnaeus.
