Description

Plants 30-60cm high, sometimes with one or two short lateral branchlets. Leaves linear to lanceolate, often loosely coiled above. Flowers 5-12 per spike, crowded, small, lemon-yellow to sulphur-yellow, sweetly fragrant. Tepals spreading, mostly 12-15mm long. From : Greek: ixos - mistletoe, birdlime = viscous sap
