Description

Plants 20-40cm high. Corm tunics of soft, brown layers. Stem unbranched, nodes sticky. Leaf single, terete, rigid. Flowers yellow, with darker yellow nectar guides on outer tepals, enclosed in leathery, truncate spathes. Tepals unequal, the outer larger, 30-45mm long, limbs weakly reflexed, inner tepals suberect or limbs also reflexed. anomalus = out of the ordinary; incongruous.
