Description

In Fernkloof and at the Bird Hide the grass-bird can be seen perching on tall weeds or grass. Easily identified by its bright rusty crown, flight feathers, rump and tail, white eyebrow and throat with two black stripes on each side and by its jumbled liquid call. Common resident.
