Description

Small, soft-textured plant up to 25 cm. The young leaves are heart-shaped but become 5-lobed when older, often with a reddish zonal marking. Up to six dainty flowers are borne on long flower stalks, cream in colour with red-wine markings on the two upper, larger petals. 'elongatum' refers to the long flowering stalks
