December - April, especially after fire.

Description

Plants 2-10cm high. Flowering stem often subterranean. Corm covered with fine, branched fibres. Leaf single, spreading, 1.5mm wide, firm, shallowly channeled, margins smooth. Flowers bright yellow with pale green reverse, tepals 10-25mm long. Bract single, lanceolate, green to whitish, clasping the pedicel towards base.
