Description

Robust plants to 75cm high. Bulbs often in clumps. Leaves up to 10, usually green at flowering, suberect, strap-shaped, 2-6cm wide, twisted, leathery. Flowers 15-25, red or pink, nodding, 5-7cm long, tubular, slightly spreading narrow tepals. From Greek: kyrtos, curved; anthos, flower; = curved flower tube. carneus = flesh coloured
