Description

Small slender shrub up to 500mm with longish slender branches and closely set leaves. The slightly sticky flowers are covered with small stiff hairs and are red to purple with purplish lobes at the end of the tubular corolla. Similar to Erica curvifolia, except for conntruction of anthers. Cristatus=comblike, referring to teeth along leaf margins.
