Description

Plants 15-30cm high. Leaves 1 or 2, 20mm wide, strap-shaped, often tinged maroon below. Flowers cream or white with greenish brown markings, strongly carnation scented, bell-shaped. Outer tepals slightly shorter than inner ones and often green-tipped. From: Werner de Lachenal, d. 1800, professor of botany at Basel.
