Description

Plants 15-35cm high. Corm with rough blackish tunics. Leaves falcate (sickle-shaped), 8-16mm wide, margins crisped. Flowers cream to maroon, strongly fragrant, in a flat-topped panicle, actinomorphic(radially symmetrical), small. Perianth tube cylindrical, 8-10mm long, tepals subequal, 3-5mm long. From: Jean de la Peyrouse, d. 1788, French navigator, explorer and naturalist. micranthus - tiny flower.
