Description

Often found growing in close association with Serruria adscendens which it resembles. However this serruria is a resprouter whereas S adscendens is a reseeder. It has striking red stems (hence its name) and only the upper half of each leaf is dissected. The flower-heads comprise pink florets clustered in a raceme-like inflorescence on a common peduncle.
