DescriptionPlants 50-90cm high. Corm depressed-globose with tunics of coarse fibres. Leaves linear, three-veined, with a long, cylindrical, false petiole (leaf stalk), usually dry at flowering. Flowers in a dense spike, scarlet-red, perianth tube 25-30mm long, tepals unequal. Bracts dry. Tritoniopsis = resembling Tritonia |
